KTU Rework - Nokia C3050

 

This tutorial shows you how to dismantle the Nokia C3050 for doing repairs using the rework station Turbo IR. This guide can also be used for the RE8500, RE 7550 and RE-7500, but be aware that BGA chips should be removed using dark infrared and therefore you need Turbo IR Benchtop Systems to do this job safely.

 

Remove the battery cover from nokia C3050 for doing repair:

lift off the plastic cover of the C3050 which holds the battery cover:

 

lift off the plastic cover of the C3050 which holds the keyboard

 

Remeove any screws from the pcb holder so you can lift off sideways the pcb with the camera

Now you have 3 parts off the Nokia C3050 so that you can go to the next step so that you can start the rework job

Mount the PCB of the Nokia C3050 onto the holders of the turbo IR Rework Station:
